Describing what Nicky does is simple: she runs our business. Doing what she does, on the other hand, is far from easy (though she loves every minute of it).
She works with clients at a high level to develop channel marketing strategies. Reviews all client work to ensure it meets established objectives. Oversees project management. Guides account management. Fosters client relationships. And leads and inspires all members of the ALPHA team.
While Nicky’s leadership skills come to her naturally, her business skills have been honed over the course of 20-plus years of marketing, sales and business development experience. She’s a quick thinker. A champion multi-tasker. Able to change gears at the drop of a hat. And her talents were recognized early on: not long after graduating Peace College and Meredith College, Nicky was one of nine people selected from a pool of hundreds to open the first Disney Store in North Carolina.
Disney is one of the world’s most respected companies, known for providing an unparalleled customer experience. During her years with the firm, Nicky learned her lessons well.

Just two of Kayla’s impressive accomplishments – made all the more noteworthy by the fact that she only recently graduated from college.
Clearly, Kayla didn’t wait for the end of her official education pursuit before rolling up her sleeves and getting to work. As a communications student at UNC Chapel Hill, a communications specialist for Wake County’s Communications Office and a client relations associate for the AroundCampus Group, Kayla gained the critical communications, planning and problem-solving skills necessary to manage client projects at Alpha.
When Kayla isn’t bounding ahead in her career pursuits, she indulges her passions for cooking, UNC basketball, movies and pop culture.

McKenna loves expressing her creativity through multiple mediums. Graduating Magna Cum Laude from NC State University, she earned a BA in Graphic Design as well as double minors in Graphic Communications and Art + Design.
While at NCSU, McKenna explored multiple creative disciplines, including industrial design, photography, costume and prop design, painting, animation, and traditional drawing and illustration. McKenna’s design style is adaptive and she is constantly looking for new techniques and ideas. She gravitates toward modern, sleek designs and is inspired by the sci-fi movies from her childhood. As a graphic designer at Alpha, she hopes to combine her array of skills to meet every client’s needs.
Prior to joining ALPHA's creative team, she studied abroad at the Prague Institute, worked as a design intern for the NHL’s Carolina Hurricanes hockey franchise, and had the pleasure of working at The Other Edge Design Studio as a junior graphic designer.
In her free time, McKenna can be found challenging her friends to video games, playing her flute, making costumes for short films and charity events, and training in the art of lightsaber dueling (no, seriously!).
